You might not expect to find dermatologic procedures and aesthetic skincare at a primary care and urgent care clinic, but Park Primary Care offers some of the most popular office-based skin procedures, including laser treatments, available today.
Biopsy is the removal of a cyst, mole, tumor or suspicious lump for further study under a microscope to determine if it is cancerous. The vast majority of biopsies reveal no cancer. Most of these skin irregularities are benign and of little cause for concern.
A laceration is a deep cut or tear in the skin or flesh. We clean, disinfect and repair these wounds, which often require stitches, at our urgent care clinic.
Some people want their moles, skin tags and cysts removed for aesthetic reasons in addition to checking them for possible cancer. Our primary care and urgent care doctors perform mole and cyst removal right here in our office.
Aesthetic skin procedures with laser treatment
Laser technology has been modified, proven and adapted for use in many medical, surgical and cosmetic procedures. At Park Primary Care, we use laser technology for treating many different problem areas on the skin as well as for overall skin resurfacing.
Ask one of our board-certified primary care, urgent care or internal medicine physicians about aesthetic skin procedures and laser treatments that may be just right for your problem. We welcome patients from Cary, Raleigh, Morrisville, Wake Forest, Apex and neighboring Wake County communities.
